DESCRIPTION: We are happy to offer this
Outstanding Handmade and Hand Quilted IRISH CHAIN Memorial Quilts dated 1994
and signed by the maker for your consideration. The Quilt was commissioned by a
master quilter and was signed by the maker and dated 1994 on the reverse side
of the quilt with tiny lettering on one corner. The memorial reads In Loving
Memory, Last of an Irish Chain Mary P. Jebo 1994. This Handmade Quilt was done
entirely by hand and "No Machine" Stitching was used to make this
honorable memorial quilt, which was over two years making. It was the Pride of
the Quilt Maker! The Quilt was never used and never saw the light of day. It is
Immaculate and as Pristine as the day it was made. The Quilt is large in size
and incorporates Very Fine Tiny Stitching as seen in the photos. The Hours are
Countless that were put into this Irish Beauty. This is a "Bargain
Price" Considering the Fabric Costs and the hours of Labor, that were put
into this Labor of Love! There is a beautiful double feather wreath and every
space is tightly quilted with cross hatch quilting. The color of the fabric is
much like the Emerald Isle with beautiful tones of green and blue. The Photos
really describe the quilt completely, so as they say a picture is worth a
thousand words. See for yourself. The border on the quilt is exception with a
fine feather cable that surrounds the entire quilt. Even the Corners on this
Outstanding Handmade Quilt are mitered and there is a tiny double fabric
binding edge that finishes off this Commissioned Memorial Quilt. The Irish
Chain Quilt is in Pristine New Condition.
