Antique apothecary pharmacist scale made by Henry Troemner in Philadelphia, PA. When the lid is closed, it measures about 7.25\" tall, and the base is about 14\" x 7\". Condition is as seen in photos. Scratches and other wear. The metal trays have some small rust spots. The glass piece under the scale trays is painted black on the underside, but some of the paint is worn/missing. The knob on the front is to stabilize the scale for transport (turning it all the way to the left stabilizes the internal mechanism, and turning it all the way to the right allows the mechanism to move freely, and the scale to function properly. he knob on the right side of the scale operates a small metal fork inside the scale that can be used to slide the small sliding weight along the beam inside the scale.
