Antique Vintage Japanese Chinese Asian hand painted hand cut porcelain tiles:

I believe this set of tiles is from around the early 20th century but I am not entirely sure. They are each stamped on the back with the same makers mark which I have been unsuccessfulin deciphering despite asking a friend in Japan! I think they are Japanese, not Chinese but again not sure.
Each one has been hand cut and is made very thinly from porcelain - they are very delicate unlike the chunky stoneware Europeantiles I collect. The painting on each one is beautiful and again very delicate and soft with the colours still vibrant. Even the tileswhich have the same bird are different, so each one is unique.
There is some damage unfortunately, I have tried to show this as much as possible in the photos.
