Antique vintage Japanese Kutani reclining sleeping large cat with gold gilding. Very heavy painting! This piece is in very good condition but has a hairline crack that has been repaired (please see the last 2 pictures). Slightly noticeable on the bottom, but not from the top since it is on the bottom edge. No other damage, chips, cracks, crazing, or additional repairs than what was stayed above. There is no wear to the gold or other paint. This beautiful cat measures approximately 11 inches long by 7 inches wide. BEAUTIFUL PIECE!I have personally had this in my collection for over 30 years, but I date this to be from around the 1920\'s or 1930\'s.
