Antique Vintage Radio "tricks Of The Trade" - 1937 For Sale
Up for sale in CD-ROM format is that classic hard-to-find book from Radio Retailing entitled "Tricks of the Trade". The 74-page booklet contains practical "bread and butter" tips for radio dealers and service men on how to find and repair the most common troubles peculiar to specific models of receivers. It also contains a chart listing common receiver troubles and what to look for stage-by-stage, socket diagrams for common tubes showing top and bottom views, socket voltages for common tubes, and choosing an antenna.
From the booklet:
The enthusiastic reception accorded the first edition of "Tricks of the Trade" and its subsequent reprinting was most gratifying. Radio servicemen and dealers throughout the world were unstinting in their praise of this novel reference aid.
Letters poured in from radio men who had found in the pages of the first "Tricks of the Trade" book the happy solutions to what might have been annoying problems. And what letters they were. Such phrases as - "greatest time-saver I've ever had" - "worth all other service books put together" - "wouldn't take $50 for my copy unless I could get another" - "I save the cost of Radio Retailing every day in the year" - spurred us on to revise earlier editions and incorporate in this third edition more than 250 more "Tricks" and some new reference charts.
We hope that you find this book as helpful as we know thousands of other radio men have found theirs. Radio Retailing will continue to hold its leading position as the best radio magazine in the field through the calibre and excellence of its editorial contents.
