Antique Vintage Silver Suit Santa On Celluloid Reindeer Occupied Japan Very Rare:

For sale is this very old Santa Claus figure riding on a celluloid reindeer. The reindeer is mounted on a plastic disc with Merry Christmas written on it. Santa Claus has a painted paper mache face and is dressed in a silver cardboard suit trimmed with pipe cleaners. His pants are made of gray paper and he has black pipe cleaner feet. He is carrying a pipe cleaner candle? tree branch? in his right hand. The reindeer is made of celluloid plastic and measures about 3 1/2\" long and 3\" tall. I bought this at an estate sale and the owner told me his father got it in Japan after WWII. Made in occupied Japan is what he said is written on the side of the reindeer, but I will let you decide that for yourself. This a very unique and rare Santa figure to add to your vintage Christmas collection.
