This listing is for my great grandmothers very large Wedgwood bowl. I am calling it a footed fruit bowl, that is what it looks like to me.

My grandmother told me, when she was growing up, this is what her mother used as the annual Christmas eggnog serving bowl.

And, that is the only time she used it. Certainly large enough to serve something in, and very heavy, 3.8 pounds. The bowl has

embossing, applied rosettes, and a floral swag. Along with a lattice pattern at the top. It has no stains, discolorations, chips, or flea bites.

It does have some crazing confined to the foot. Being most noticeable inside the foot, but some showing on the foot on the outside,

with a thin stress crack. Probably from being so heavy. This is a lovely bowl, and is more cream than photo 11, shows detail though.

Hard to photograph this. It is marked Wedgwood, Made in England, 4QB, and one R about and inch above the date mark and to the right.

See photo 7. I guarantee this is an authentic Wedgewood period piece, it has been in my family now for over 90 years. I know a

Wedgwood or Creamware collector will love this.
