Antique WINCHESTER Repeating Arms Co., New Haven, Connecticut USA,Bullet Mold & Loading Tool Set for 38 WCF (Winchester Center Fire), also known as 38-40 Winchester. The Patent dates on the loading tool are, Oct. 20, 1874 & Nov. 7 1882, an early issue. No patent on mold. Finish on both is a dark brown patina with some surface rust and pits and abrasions from use. Never cleaned, original condition. Oak wood handled mold has a crack in one handle andis missing the pour collar plate. Loading tool is missing the decapper plug.This set came from the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation in Todd Co. South Dakota. It was given to the Zeitner Geological Museum, in Mission, South Dakota (on the Rosebud) by a tribal memberin the 1920\'s and put on display in the museums collections.Nice Early Metal Cartridge item.Check photos to complete description.Free Lower 48 Shipping.
