This is a Great old WWI era Gas Alarm Noise Maker that make a Terrific Sound when you swing it around that sounds like the rat-a-tat-tat of a Machine Gun. I'm sure this was an Erie sound to hear in the Trenches because that meant it was time to get on your Gas Mask and Pray that it does its Job. This piece is unmarked but is most likely of French design and is in Excellent Working Condition with light wear to the wooden cogs and the finish. This one is Ready for Use!
