This fine Wedgwood pitcher is a dark rich cobalt blue with creamy white raised Bas reliefs ofClassical Grecian figures with superb detail. Please view and enlarge photos to see detail. This pitcher stands 6 1/4\" in height and has an approx. 5 1/2\" diameter at the widest part. The jug opening is 2 1/2\" not including the spout.
There are no chips cracks or damage. The base is marked as pictured for Wedgwood (No England so made prior to 1890s. ) There is a mold mark of 30 and many modelers marks. Also a date letter of S in the center.
Truly a gorgeous early Wedgwood Pitcher that will make a welcome addition to any collection.
