Antique Western Americana G Atkinson Oil On Academy Board Cowboy Indian Painting For Sale

This is one of many Estate fresh items from various Maryland Estates in the Bay Area. Here is a fantastic antique American painting. Signed in the lower right corner by G. Possibly C. Atkinson. It is an oil possibly acrylic (I can never tell the difference) painting on Academy Board. The board was made by the F.W. Devoe & Co. in New York. The painting dates to Circa 1900 or maybe a little earlier. It is a fantastic Americana scene of Western Cowboys in a dessert. With there horses laying down around them on the ground. While they sit & stand near them holding there guns. In the distance there is some horses and riders racing toward them. It has a great bright blue sky as well. The painting alone measures 18" by 24" it comes framed. The painting is in good condition with some bowing outward and some crackling to the paint when this happened. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS FANTASTIC PIECE! I will combine shipping on multiple purchases. Much nicer looking in person, pictures do no justice.
