These crucifix in bottles were made by prisoners of war during World War 1 which the prisoners constructed to trade them for food and cigarettes. The crucifix is made of wood and there shorts are made of tin foil. The crucifix is decorated with flowers and other decoration and the bodies are detailed with pencil. The bottle is glass. The crucifix is signed by the soldier on the bottom of the crucifix is signed by the artist K. Wanser. This piece is in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs but the crucifix is lose as long as two spears in the background and they could be glued back easily by someone that knows how to get to it.
