This medal was found with other items all saved by a WWI military gentleman. This ribbon looks like it may have gotten faded from wear but it is odor free and in relatively good condition for being 100 years old. The bar across the middle reads France and The medal says \" The Great War for Civilization\" The angel depicted on the medal is carrying a sword and a shield. The reverse side has the US and all the other allies listed on the medal. A wonderful WWI collectible.
