Antique c1815 Minton Porcelain Tea Cup London Shape Pattern 827 Excellent
An antique porcelain tea cup made by Minton. It is made in London shape introduced in 1812 and has a mock Sevres mark which was used until 1816 so the tea cup dates from that period. It is hand painted in a gorgeous pattern number 827, with pale greenish flowers and lavish gilding to make a striking contrast.
Cup height: 2 1/8" (5.5cm)
Cup diameter: 3 3/8" (8.5cm)
Condition: excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration, just slight wear to the gilding, please refer to the photos.
This lot is part of a large collection of early 19th century English porcelain that I will be listing over the next weeks. Please check my other sales for more collectable tea cups.
I will pack safely, with lots of bubble wrap and packing peanuts, and will ship in a sturdy box.

IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT THE POSTAGE PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I'LL DO MY BEST TO GIVE YOU THE QUOTE TO YOUR PARTICULAR DESTINATION. I DO NOT MAKE PROFIT ON P&P, PLEASE SEE MY response SCORE FOR SHIPPING, IT REFLECTS MY ACTUAL CHARGES. If the actual Royal Mail postage is less than my shipping quote on I will refund the difference. I will gladly combine shipping whenever possible.
I always reciprocate response but sometimes cannot do it immediately as I travel a lot to antiques fair and sometimes have only limited access to the internet. Please allow some time for the response to be given.
