circa 1850 - 1900

Beautiful Antique Spinning Wheel

Definitely European - I believe the origin is Germany (Black Forest) or France.

Very fine & intricate hand carving with hearts decorating the wheel.

Beautifully aged wood with warm hues.

Measures 14" tall.

EXCELLENT CONDITION

Wood is in superb condition, - no age cracks. or warping.

The very top finial is gone, 1 smaller top finial is chipped,
and 4 of the hanging decorative pieces are missing from the base
(they look like chess pawns), & a slat of wood used for the pedal is missing.

Other than that, the wheel spins freely & there are no other mentionables.
