Description: Up for sale is this very well known US president made by a well known listed American artist, James Earl Fraser. Fraser's signature and the copyright of 1920 can be found at the top left corner. Fraser was well known for his American Indian sculptures as well as bust of Roosevelt. His most famous work is entitled "The End of the Trail" he also designed the Indian head nickel. You can go on line to read more about this very influential American artist. This bas relief is a very detailed profile of Roosevelt with a quote below. On the back is the original paper label indicating that this bronze was cast by the Decorative Arts League in New York. This is a heavy bronze casting weighing slightly over 8 lbs. This bronze is finished in a deep mahogany patina. Very good original condition.
