Stunning photograph of a Apache Maiden "Hi-Horse" by A. Frank Randall of Willcox, Arizona Territory c. 1880s. She wears a gorgeous Apache fringed buckskin poncho with trade cloth cutouts, a heavily tin-coned yoke, and a necklace with possibly a peace medal. She holds a basket in her right hand, with a burden basket and pitch olla to her left. Titled both in ink and in negative recto with Randall's Willcox, Arizona Territory studio imprint verso. Includes: Dealer in Views of Arizona and New Mexico, Geronimo and his Band, also Tonto, San Carlos, Yuma, Mojave, White mountains, Jicarillas, Mescalero and Apache Photos. Super tone and contrast with edge wear and soiling/foxing to mount.
