For your consideration, this fantastic set of 5 antique apothecary jars with gold foil labels, circa 1890\'s. The labels read: Chlorof.Purify., Infus. Gent. Co., Acetanilidum, Mag: Carb: Pond: & Santonica.
For size reference, the largest bottle is 9.25\" tall X 3.75\" across (the pen in the picture is for scale). The labels are so interesting--they are glassed over! They all have some chipping to these glassed-over labels, as you can see in the pics. All of the bottle rims are smooth to the touch, no chips, and check out the fabulous faceted stoppers! They are flat-topped and really gorgeous!
Four of the stoppers have chipped edges at the bottoms that go inside the bottles. One of the faceted stoppers (wide mouthbottle) has a small chip on the underside of the stopper. The bottles are a little spotty as seen in the pictures, but two of them are pretty clear. I love these and am dying to keep them, but I just have too much stuff! ;)
