This sale is for a vintage 1960\'s complete chess board and set byArne Basse Denmark done in a nice mid-century modern Rosewood board with yellow/golden raised felt/fabric/leather top and green felt bottom as shown in pictures. The game pieces are a complete set of 32-16 light-colored wood pieces and 16 Rosewood pieces. I may not have them in the complete or correct order on the game board but they are there. All parts of the game board, the upper felt playing area, and the base are in very good condition as are all the pieces of the game set. There are no wood chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs or splits on any of the pieces or board. The back of the game board is marked with a golden foil sticker: copyright 1966 Arne Basse Horsens-Denmark Made in Denmark. The board measures about 1 and 1/2\" high x just shy of 13 and 1/2\" square.
