Exquisite Art Deco era set 8 silverplate dishes up for sale from a local estate. You will 8 dishes that measure 6 3/4\". Each dish has an ornate rope design and seashell pattern along the perimeter edge! Each plate is stamped with symbols shown: a fleur-de-Lis, crown, and lion, all above square bases. This is the markings for the E.G. Webster & Son purveyors in silver. This set dates pre-1928, when the company was sold to the International Silver Co. These plates must have been purchased by a wealthy family. Each plate is monogrammed with the Old English initial of \"H\". All together these weigh 1977 grams or 4.5 pounds! Obviously a set like this would have costly and only afforded by the well to do. If your last name starts with an \"H\" or you know someone whose does, this is the perfect gift! These fine silverplate dishes come to you in Excellent vintage condition. Some normal wear do to age/use.
