Up for sale today is an original Art Deco Brown Saltman two shelf coffee table designed By Gilbert Rohde.This is a classic Art Deco table that was designed in the early 1940\'s by Gilbert Rohde for Brown Saltman. This cocktail table has two shelves and has a veneer over dark tone wood. The sides are rounded and the table is footed. It was made in the U.S.A . Just an exceptional piece of Art Deco furniture.
Measures 36\" L x 17 1/4\" W x 15\" H
Also included is a Brown Saltman circular side-table. May be by a different designer, but looks lovely with the coffee table nonetheless.
Measure 26\" H x 18\" round.In good vintage condition. Very sturdy and solid. Heavier than appears. All solid wood. A few superficial scratches to the surface. Could be refinished, but beautiful as-is.
