ART NOUVEAU Passover HAGGADAH 1945 NY judaica Noveau Jewish RARE Jews USA

This is one of the most beautifully illustrated haggadot ever printed. It contains about a dozen colored illustrations in art noveau style typical of the 1920s. There wereseveral editions of this haggada in a few languages. Theonly major difference between the illustrationsis that the centerfold of this one contains famous Rabbi’s over the past 1000 years including Rambam, Rashi etc seated around the Seder table. (The other haggada has the Rabbi's of the Hasam Soifer family, which I also own). Both haggadot are rare and wonderfully illustrated. I’ve seen these haggadot go for between $150 to $300 at judaica sales.

Hagadah was printed in New York in 1945 by the Ziegelheim firm. This is the first ENGLISH edition.

Contains 64 pages NOT including the prints.

Measurements: 9 x 12 inches.

Condition: Staining on pages. Front cover hanging by a thread and is detached. Scuffing to edges of cover. Used for Passover.
