by Pierre Sega a well known french artist prolific in the deco period ,He captures the style of the time well the lady is almost roman in style wearing sandals and a top with a toga feel to it , this is a lovely example of his work mounted on marble all original un cleaned it has a perfect patina , even has the metal dog leads although i think they were once soldered to the dog collars they have parted over the years though they still look the part nice crisp visible signature on the skirt
odd tiny nibbles on marble along edge but im being picky otherwise excellent
