Arthur Singer Framed 1950's Series Print - Pair Of Bluebirds - Number 2 For Sale
Arthur Singer is one of America’s best known bird painters. He was born in New York City in 1917 and passed away in 1990. In the1950's he became very successful after he was commissioned to paint a set of 8 bird prints called State Birds for American Home magazine. This is one of those prints from 1950s. This one is Number 2 in the series of 8.This print features the Mountain Bluebird at the top and the Eastern Bluebird at the bottomsurrounded by floral renditions from different states. Bluebirdsare found in the following states, Idaho, New York, Missouri, Nevada, This print is nicely framed in a simple but nice off white vintage wood frame. I did not check condition of print out of frame. There is usage, storage, and age wear. The print is in good vintage condition with good color with some yellowing of the print. All the pictures I took are in natural light. The printmeasures 11" x 8 1/2". Photos are part of the description, please look carefully and ask questions before offerding.
