The only paper work with the skeleton indicates thatshe was a 70 year old lady at her death and thatthe skeletonwas 120 years old in the late sixties or very early seventies. (Unknown and Unverified)The paper says (pictured)it was used by the estate owners grandfather to teach radiology at Washington University in St Louis, Missouri prior to 1900 where it was purchased by him. (The name was possiblyGatlin orCawthon also unknown and unverified)The skeleton is missing an arm and a leg although there is a another leg bone. It is unknown if this was the original condition of the skeleton although there are metal holders on both sides. There is some damage to the rib cage area and possibly some neck bones.Unknown if the damage is from age or use. A few finger and toe bones are loose or may be missing. It is unknown if the hardware is complete or not. It is very old and offers some unique opportunities for study. That is all the information we have on this skeleton.
