STUNNING Antique Arts & Crafts Slag Glass & Wrought Iron B&H Hanging Light Chandelier.......MINTY !In this Listing .......

         We are offering an absolutely stunning Bradley & Hubbard hammered wrought iron and slag glass Hanging Light/Chandelier in the Arts & Crafts or Mission style . This hanging lamp was created in the 1895 time period and was at the start of the Arts & Crafts movement in our country . Made of hand hammered wrought iron and nicely crafted steel that has been updated to electric for modern convenience - it was originally a \"Gas Fixture\". The green and white slag glass panels ad a nice pop of color and are in perfect condition . The last composite photo is of the table lamp that came from the same estate that is now sold but bears the B&H signature and early patent date. For every 100 antique Arts & Crafts table lamps you see from this early time period you see one example of a hanging fixture - so always scarce are now actually becoming an increasingly rare occurrence in the market place !The lamp has been cleaned of light surface scale (rust) and re-coated with three coats of \"Flat Varnish\" and is now buttery smooth to the touch and with proper care should last you your lifetime. As said this lamp was originally a gas fixture and has been converted to electric . The two arms need to be wired yet which requires drilling out the brass butterfly valves at the base of the arms or you could just put \"dummy\" sockets in (standard 1/4\" pipe tap down in the arm cups) and flame bulbs that would complete the look and not so much hassle - your choice.Treat Yourself to Something of Investment Quality to Grace Your Home or Office !!This light has about a 41\" drop from the ceiling ,the shade is 14\" square 10\" tall and 27\" corner to corner at the arms - a very substantial fixture.I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story .

NO cracks ,chips , breaks or other grievous damage . Wear commensurate with age and use .On a scale of 1-10 a solid \"9\" . Electric in working order - it should be ready to grace your home or office .The two side arms will be unscrewed/removed and packed separately in the larger box to cut done the carton size and assure safe delivery .

We have our own professional Packing and Crating Facilities to help keep your furniture shipping cost as low as possible. In many cases, we will ship smaller pieces of furniture to your door by FedEx or UPS in specially reinforced cartons. Medium sized pieces will be shipped via Greyhound Package Express to the terminal nearest your address, and you will be responsible for picking the item(s) up at that location. Larger pieces of furniture will be packed and crated, possibly on a skid, and shipped via truck (freight) to your driveway. Your item might come in a crate much larger than the item you purchased. On larger pieces you may or may not have to arrange for help to unload.
