Asian/chinese Carved Jade Pendant Silver W/ 14k Solid Gold Bail Necklace Vintage For Sale
Pretty vintage jade pendant with solid 14k gold bail.The frame is silver with a gold wash or coloring on top of the filigree. There is a little gold that got on the jade too, you can see it in some crevices around the edge. This looks like it used to be a brooch/pin at one time. It is missing that hardware and is now a necklace with a very nice gold bail that was put on by a jeweler.The jade looks to be in very nice shape. I don't detect any cracks. I can see one extremely tiny micro nick when viewed with magnification. Might have been made when carved or may be damage. Front is carved in the shape of bamboo, flowers and leaves. The color is medium green w/ some darker spots.I do not know if it is natural or color treated. Please look closely and decide for yourself.
