Offering for sale this guaranteed original vintage CAST IRON AND STEEL 1c grip tester. It was manufactured by the Atlas Company in the late 1920s - early 1930s and has been tastefully restored. This is a wonderful specimen - it works perfectly and includes awesome graphics on the sides and front (please see all photos and watch the YouTube video - below)

It retains the original internal mechanism – including the loud GONG BELL that rings when the player reaches a level of 210 or greater.

Drop a penny in the slot and SQUEEZE - - the red indicator rises to measure how strong you are.

There is a chart on the top of the cabinet that indicates how men and women should be able to score based on their age – a great way of getting people curious about their strength…and having them spend their pennies!

This is a lovely vintage machine in perfect working order. Measurements are 14 inches deep X 15 high X 8.5 Wide. The cast iron grips and the cast iron coin drop have been powder coated for durability. The back door is a newer steel replacement. Looks good just like an original and is fitted with a new lock and two keys. There is some very faint scratching on the glass window above the white numbered scale - I've taken a few photos at different angles to try and get it to show. It is not distracting really but I want to mention it for completeness.
