PART OF A WONDERFUL COLLECTION!This is a superb Austrian Vienna Bronze (Bronze de Vienne, Wiener Bronze, Cold Painted Bronze) frog band. It features the most wonderful pair of frog musicians - a harpist and a cellist or bassist. Along with this is a frog chef with a ladle and a chef hat and scarf! So delightful!The paint is in excellent condition and the frogs have wonderful detailing throughout.These are antique vienna bronzes, not a new reproduction! They are unsigned. The pieces come from a prominent New York City estate. Please see our other sales for more early Vienna Bronzes from this collection.The frogs are in excellent condition with no breaks or missing pieces. They are 55 to 65 mm (2 1/8 - 2 3/4 inches) tall. The bronze is solid.
