Authentic Montblanc Meisterstuck No. 146 Fountain Pen 4810 With Ink For Sale
Please note the following:-There is some light scratching/wear on both the outer and inner parts of the case (Please refer to pictures), which occurred during handling, and the string inside the case in not intact, as it was accidentally pulled out of its socket (Please refer to picture).-There is very slight- almost indiscernible to the naked eye unless closely inspecting the pen - wearing of the gold plating circling the black resin. I spoke with a Montblanc retail store rep (Garden City, NY) who said that this type of wearing on the gold plating is normal, and any of the three parts of the pen can be replaced by Montblanc if/when the pen is worn to the point of needing replacement (I'm not sure of cost for such replacements). I have never dipped this pen in ink but have had it for a long time and, in moving and just general handling, showing friends and the like, the case wound up with some imperfections and I surmise that the acidity of hands contributed to the wearing of the gold plating. 14K gold nib.
