Awesome 16th-17th C. German Morgenstern Flail Mace For Helmets (sword, Dagger):
$800

Spectacular and extremely vicious early German percussion weapon designed for most efficient penetration of helmets and concussion through heavy armor without penetrating it. Two opposite sides of the steel head are mounted with three deadly spikes each, while the other two sides have one and two spikes each, likely designed so for easier retrieval of the weapon after the attack. Heavy patina and oxidation to all steel, solid and intact on its heavy chain connected to a long shaft socket, with possibly a later but still very early wooden shaft.overall 37" working head 7" spike 1 1/2"
