Up for offers isan amazing circa 1920\'s XAC leatherfootball helmet! The leather on this beast is in used but great shape! It is soft and supple but still very strong! The beautiful patina is 100% original worn.We never use any dyes, colored polishes, waxes, or coloring of any kind on any of our items!When we acquired this helmet is was covered in 2 coats of antique paint. We removed the paint to reveal what you see here! There are a few tiny remnants of paint but 99.9% of it is gone.It has a great shine and thatantique football helmet aroma we all know and love! Thehelmethas gridiron battle scars but major damage (see all photos). Both of the front inner elastic straps arepresentand tight. The thick interior leather and wool padding is all present and is in great shape! The XAC logo ismarkedon the inside on the section of leather (see photo #9). The size is not marked on the helmet but it is a very large adult size. Here are the measurements taken from theinsidecenter of the helmet - Front to back 8\", Side toside6 3/4\". Display standis not included.This awesome 1920\'s XAC leather football helmet willlook killerdisplayed in your office, sports room, or man cave!
