Stunning large cinema marquee letter thought to be from around the 1940s. Made by Adler in cast aluminium. Bevelled edges.The cast aluminium inner is painted in black paint. Paintwork is flaky but this adds to character. Very rare for UK as most are in the US.
This sale is for the letter I.Size is large at 10\" high.
This is a vintage item that has been exposed to the elements so bears the marks of time. The letter has lots of marks, paint spots and the paint is flaking. Odd ding here and there but nothing major and no cracks. All this just adds to the appearance which oozes character. The minor defects are only mentioned for completeness and to ensure buyers are not expecting new pristine items.
