King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Coronation 1937
Product Description:Up for consideration is a beautiful tea cup & saucer issued by Aynsley China of England to commemorate the coronation of King George VI andQueen Elizabeth in 1937.
The tea cup & saucer are white with colorful details and a shiny gold trim. Very detailed portrait of the King and Queen. There are hand-painted details as well, on both the cup and saucer. The teacup measures 2 ½” tall and the rim has a diameter of 3”. The saucer measures 5 ½”. Both pieces are marked Aynsley England Bone China on the bottom.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks, and no signs of repair.
From a non-smoking home.
