This is a real collectors\' item - a good example of a Baedeker\'s Guide covering Great Britain. Nicely bound in red stiff covers, with gilt lettering on the front cover and spine. Dated 1906, 6th edition revised.
Thecovers and spine cloth are in very good condition but there is bumping and rubbing to the top and bottom edges ofthespine cloth.
The binding is excellent .
The first map is missing, but the rest of the 22 maps. 58 plans and the panorama (of Snowdon) appear to be complete and in excellent condition with no markings or damage.
The pages are in very good condition with very little wear or discolouration. One page is loose and a bit scuffed at the edges.
A fascinating travel handbook of 606 pages, full of contemporary information about themany areas of interest in Great Britain at the start of the 20th century.
