BANDAI Tin Friction 1959 Rambler & Shasta Trailer 22.5" Complete Cond With Box
PLEASE READCOMPLETE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AND VIEW PHOTOS CLOSELY BEFORE offerDING.
Presented here is alarge 22.5"total lengthtin 1959 Rambler Ambassador station wagon and Shasta camping trailer made by Bandai of Japan for Fleet Line Authentic Miniatures in the late 1950's. Fleetline called this awesome rig the Holiday Express. Both car and travel trailer are clean as new and invery good originalcondition with all parts intact including factory box and original cardboard protective divider. It does not appear that the car and house trailer have ever been played with, only exhibiting a couple spots of corrosion from storage. The Rambler pull vehicle was never made with a friction motor for this set because of tow trailer. White over metallic green finish has a beautiful luster showing only a couple tiny dings and no paint wear otherwise. Polished trimshines like chrome with some typical age tarnish showing on side spears and a bit of corrosion on rear bumper over riders. Highly detailed interior includes separate plastic steering wheel. Blue tinted plastic window "glass" is crystal clear with no cracks, breaks or shrinkage and still held firmly in place. Tailgate window opens and closes as it should. Satin black base hasno wear. Tri tone hubcaps and whitewalls with large R in center look absolutely stunning but right rear whitewall does have a spot of corrosion. Nicely treaded rubber tires are all flawless with no cracks or flat spots. Trailer hitch slides in and out of bumper easily. Cream and yellow Shasta "canned ham style" travel trailer with flying wings looks just awesome. I think this is the most authentic andrealistic looking toy trailer made. It is rare to find one of these toys in such complete andoriginal condition. Onlya bit of corrosion on right rear wing, corner and trim on back of trailer are all that mar the otherwise pristine finish. Wing has been touched up with silver paint. Plastic windows are all crystal clear with no cracks, breaks or shrinkage and all are still firmly intact. Often missing on these trailers but complete on this one are the roof vents, plastic running lights, separate tabbed trim, entry step, door handle, Shasta brand logos, propane tanks and landing gear. Side door opens and closes easily. It stays firmly clicked shut when closed. Landing gear operates up and down as it should. Base hasno wear at all. Rubber tires are bothflawless with no cracks or flat spots. Box has great graphics and is complete with original cardboard divider. The box shows stains and effects of being stored in a damp environment at some point. A good thing is the absence of any offending odors. There is also a hand written name on cover. This is a verydesirable set in immaculate and complete original condition. New owner won't be disappointed. It is made even better with a low, low starting offer and ........as always.

I am a collector as well as a dealer, and many times have been chagrined to open a box and find a rare vintage toy broken en route. Not due to postal misuse, but bypoor and insensitivewrapping. Prices are set by size and weight.USPS Priority Mail dimensional weight rates will now apply for certain large packages shipped to select zones within the U.S. Priority Mail can be very expensive with an oversize package, as many of my toys require, thereforefor those larger items I use Parcel Post which is just as safe and almost as fast.
