A beautiful, c.1939 CROSLEY MODEL C-548 radio - with 6 tubes and both AM broadcast and Shortwave. The bakelite case, one of Crosley's earliest, has a custom one-of-a-kind paint restoration of the highest professional quality. The artist chose to feature this radio in a rich smoky green accented with two different tones of candy apple gold. The result is a catalin-like look; absolutely stunning - awesome, extreme mixes with a mirror smooth finish for a look as cool as you can get - an outrageous, one-of-a-kind piece! This very special radio is housed in an Art Deco meets Machine-Age inspired case with a design that looks like a machine deposited here by an advanced alien race! If you're looking for a beautiful unique piece - this is it! This radio's physical condition is near mint - no chips, cracks or breaks.

This Crosley has a six-tube, superhet chassis with two bands - this is different from the C-548 5-tuber you often see on . It was repaired to playing condition and the radioreceives stations on the AM band very well with strong sound, also plays on SW with a band switch in the rear. No back.
