Description Victoriansolid sterling silverpill box by the silversmith J Walker, in lovely conditionandwith full silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1892.Excellent quality genuine 19th Century example, (not a modern re-production), with a domed hinged silver lid and decorated with attractive embossed reeding, flowers and scrolls. Stunningoriginal fully gilt-lined interior. Small gothic engraved monogram in cartouche.
Measurements Measures approx1.35 inches (36mm) x 1.2 inches (31mm) and is1.1 inches (28mm) deep.
Date Antique Victorian Solid Sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1892(date letter "s"). Further clear matching marks on the lid too.

ConditionLovelycondition, no splits or cracks, no repairs, definitely no wear/pin holesand no nasty knocks or dents either, just acouple of tiny shallow surface bruises but really nothing much at all and avery nice example. The silver lid hinge works perfectly opening and closing properlyand tightlyand the interior gilding is beautiful and virtually all still intact.
