A really gorgeous, fully glazed (i.e.not unglazed bisque) continental porcelain model of a cherub riding on a swan sleigh. This antiquefigurine (c1900) is beautifully encrusted with tiny, individually appliedflowers and with hand painted flowers between.

It has NO FACTORY MARK (possibly because of minor manufacturing faults)but almostcertainly originating from one of the major German factories.

It measures approximately 8 inches (20cms) in length x 6inches (15cms) in height

Very good condition with just a fewminor flaws (see last 4 pictures):-

just a little damage/few losses to the delicate encrusted flowers and a littlehairline just visible inside where the hand rests on the sleigh (I am sure this has to be from manufacture as there is no damage tothe applied flowers on the outside in that area or to the hand, so no indication of a knock at all).

From original manufacture – a little‘blob’ of rogue porcelain INSIDE at the bottom of the sleigh and some littlebrown spots on the sleigh ski at the front (see photos).Returns - I endeavour to picture and describe all items as accurately as possible and am confident you will be delighted with your purchase but will of course refund in the unlikely event that an item is found not to be as described.
