Beautiful Bright Cut Hand Decorated Georgian Sea Shell & Silver Snuff Box For Sale
This is for a very nice, very sweet little antique Georgian snuff box made from a sea shell and mounted with a silver hinged lid. It dates around 1820-1830 and thesilverhas beenengraved with a verydelicate little bright cut foliage pattern and has the letters DW in the centre. It is in very good condition with no dings anddents in the silver and nice crisp clear decoration, it hasn't been over polished at all, there are some little marks andhairlines visible in the actualshell, but nothing detracting. It opens and closes perfectly as it should and it displays beautifully. It measures 40mm (1.5") x 25mm (1") by 25mm tall.Please check out all the othersnuff boxes, smoking related items and other vintage gentleman's & ladies' accessoriesI am selling on this week.
