This is a beautiful piece of mid 19th century fine cotton block printed (or maybe block and roller printed) cotton with beautiful roses and parrots against a fine picotage background in very distinctive, strong colours that date it to about 1850s. It has been lined with light weight linen.

The condition is very good, just a little wear to the linen lining on the reverse, see photos.

It measures about 14.5\" by 7\" or 37 cms by 18 cms. Thank you for looking.
