St Ives Pottery in Cornwall which was started byBernard Leach, made this standard ware stoneware jug/pourer with side handle,dark glaze to the inside; it has the St Ives seal mark, also impressed ENGLAND on theoutside. The jug is in nice condition with no cracks or restoration, there is asmall 5mm x 3mm shallow chip to the inside of the rim [see photo]; measures10cm high [to top of handle], 9.5cm diameter.
