"The 50 State Quarter Commemorative Coin program" is an historic minting agenda by the U.S. Mint. The program will issue 5 new quarter coins for 10 years ending in 2008. Each U.S. State will be represented with their own unique coin design. Coins are issued in the order that states joined the Union. The book in this listing is for this program and holds one quarter for each state. If you are collecting both P & D quarters, you can either buy TWO of these books and use one for P (Philadelphia mint) and one for D (Denver mint) quarters......... or you can see our PRO QUARTER ALBUM KIT which holds both P & D in one album.
In 2009, the US MINT will issue 5 new quarters, under their "The District of Columbia and United States Territories Quarter Program." The individual book for this program is being sold in our other listings and holds BOTH P & D quarters for each territory: The District of Columbia, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the United States Virgin Islands, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
If you plan to continue your collection with the 2009 quarters, there are two ways to do this:
