Thetypical Betty Boop pin of the 30s is enamel on silvered brass. They wereparticularly popular around the time of the New York World’s Fair in 1939-1940.This etched brass version is small and less colorful, but much scarcer than thestandard vintage Betty pin. Only 1-1/8” tall in two shades of brass and in herclassic coy pose with both arms covering her breasts, while she bends at bothhip and knee and stares upper left with wide eyes. No maker, but we suspectCzechoslovakia origin and sold off a dime store or newsstand card.Mint.
