This is the reissue of Bing’s Cowboy songs released in1939. This album contains 12 songs. The hit songs from Bing’s hit movie, RHYTHMON THE RANGE, I’M AN OLD COWHAND & EMPTYSADDLES are included. These songs wererecorded between Nov 1935 and 1939, but released together as an album in 1939as noted. Cover is worn:spine partially detached, rubsand wear along the edges of the front and back cover ,last paper cover on theinside is repaired with tape. CoverPhoto was from Rhythm on the Range.Wonderful photo collages from that movie as well as Bing’s own workingranch in Elko, Nevada.

Records areall in nice playable shape, playing well with no skips on my Audio TechnicaATPL-120 tracking at 2 ½-3 grams. There is some surface noise, and an occasional“tick.” Some rub marks, these are NOTpristine. I love this album so much Irecorded it digitally so I can listen to it again. The sound of Bing’s voice inthe mid-late 30’s was amazingly rich, flexible and a very interesting highrange. Please email questions.
