Bing & Grøndahl
Flowering Wisteria Vase
Bing & Grondahl (B&G) was founded in 1853 and existed until 1987, when Royal Copenhagen merged with Bing and Grondahl. B & G, Bing & Grondahl refer to the founders: Fred. Vilh. Grøndahl (1819-1856), technical director; the brothers M.H. Bing (1819 - 1883) and J.H. Bing (1811 -1896) as economical directors. This figurine is marked with three towers in green. This hallmark comes from the City Coat of Arms of Copenhagen. ‘B&G’ printed below the tower in green, ‘Kjøbenhavn’ and ‘Denmark’ identify production of 1962-1970.
Vase measures about 2 ¾” in its widest diameter and stands 4 ¾” (11 cm) tall. Condition is immaculate with no cracks or chips found. Colors are bright and vibrant. Please take a look at the pictures in our viewer to find out more about this item.
