Presenting a spectacular large sized Depression Glass lemonade jug and five
matching tumblers in a most desirable radiant electric blue colour!

This exquisite set, dating to circa 1930s, is believed to be the "American"
pattern produced by Fostoria. It is extremely similar to the Jeannette
"Cube" or "Cubist" pattern produced during the same period, however we
don\'t believe Jeannette\'s version was produced in this striking colour!

This highly desirable example of depression glass is
rather rare in this fabulous rich blue coloured glass.

This stunning pressed glass set features a wonderfully contemporary
raised pattern of interlocked cubes. The diamond shaped faces of the
cubes spectacularly protrude from the surface of the glass. The faceted
geometric faces reflect light spectacularly to add a stunning sparkle while
magnificently intensify the exquisite rich colour of the blue glass.

The glass looks truly spectacular with light passing
through the glass to illuminate the radiant blue colour!

This exceptional set consists of one large sized lemonade jug
/ pitcher and five matching tumbler glasses. The jug has a fabulously
large and stylishly shaped handle making a pleasure to use and
each glass is perfectly balanced and a delight to hold.

This exquisite blue depression glass set is presented in very fine
condition with no cracks, or repairs. There is one small and shallow slither
of a nibble to the edge of the foot of the jug and another even tinier fleabite
to the base of one glass. These are exceptionally tiny and noticeable only
on extremely close examination but mentioned for complete accuracy. Most
people would never even notice them. One would expect a lot more wear
to a set that is over 80 years old and this is amongst the finest and largest
set we have seen. The glass retains a stunning sparkle with no frosting or
clouding. This set has been very well cared for and presents beautifully.

Each piece is well finished with a quality, polished outer rim to the base.

The wonderfully impressive jug stands approx 210mms tall,
measures 105mms in diameter at the base and 175mms in width from
the tip of the handle to the edge of the spout. Each glass stands approx
95mms tall and measures 70mms in diameter at the top rim.

This stunning set would make a fine addition to any quality
depression glass or Fostoria American setting.

This set would also perfectly compliment any Jeannette Cube collection
