Bobby London’s Popeye Original Comic Strip Rare 1986 For Sale

RARE Original POPEYE daily comic strip by BOBBY LONDON, 12/30/86 (paper size: 13 1/8" x 4 1/4") Pen and ink. Signed. Paper is solid and untorn. This strip features Popeye reciting his famous signature line to Olive, "I yam what I yam an' tha's all I yam!"

  PLAYBOY cartoonist Bobby London took over the POPEYE daily strip from Bud Sagendorf in 1986. POPEYE historian Fred Grandinetti considers London’s version of the strip to be closest in spirit to the original by E.C. SEGAR.
