We would like to thank the oldest son of Clarence Clemons, for giving us this opportunity to bring to the fans of his father what we feel is one of the most important pieces of Historic Music Memorabilia to have come up for public sale.

HISTORIC - TUESDAY, JUNE 21, 2011

GOVERNOR CHRIS CHRISTIE HONORS AND MEMORIALIZES

LIFE OF CLARENCE CLEMONS BY SIGNING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 67

Never before in this country has a signed Politician's Executive Order, allowing the American Flag to be flown at half-staff come up for sale.

Included in this Historic sale is Chris Christie's autopen signed cover letter to the family, three page copy of Executive Order No. 67, documenting the Achievements of Clarence Clemons Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band. Executive Order is Hand Signed by Chris Christie (Super Rare), attested by Jeffery S. Chiesa (the Chief Counsel to the Governor) and The actual American Flag (Super, Super, Super Rare) that was flown at half-staff over New Jersey's Capital in Trenton on Thursday January 23, 2011 (w/certificate of authenticity). Also included, a Framed Plaque Designating January 11th as Clarence Clemons Day in the State of New Jersey.

"Clarence Clemons represented the soul and spirit of New Jersey. His partnership with Bruce Springsteen and the rest of the E Street Band brought great pride to our state and joy to every fan of this music around the world. On a personal note, when I heard about the Big Man's passing on Saturday night, I was struck with an overwhelming feeling that the days of my youth were now finally over. My condolences to Clarence's family and all the members of the E Street Band.”

PROVENANCE

All items in this Historic sale comes with a signed letter from Clarence Clemons' oldest son, along with photographs from Feb 18, 2013, the day my wife and I purchased all the items in this listing. Fans can Google the many links documenting the son of the "Big Man" receiving these exact items from Representatives of Governor Chris Christie’s office at the STONE PONY, January 23, 2013, as well as going to the NJ.gov website where they can see an unsigned three page copy of this Executive Order No. 67.

None have ever been offered for sale until now.
