Layak Mata Besek ~ One Eyed Demon

Hand carved from albesia wood with great detail in Bali by talented carvers. It is then hand painted in the traditional style in antique white and red with touches gold leaf highlights.

Leyakis a Balinese practitioner of dark is a of Calonarang Drama the archetypal evil.

Mask made in this style are guardians or protectors and are often found over doors or windows to keep demons from enter a home or scared place.

This is a fun mask, and will make a fantastic addition to any mask collection, or as part of your eclectic decor.
